The way the mind works is a very confusing thing. Everyone thinks differently and everyone has a different outlook on life because of their situations that they've encountered throughout their lifetime. I whole-heartedly believe that sports bring people together. People want to watch their favorite teams play with friends and family. It gives them something to talk about and can also take their minds off of anything that isn't going so well in their lives at that exact moment.

Ive learned growing up that you can use a lot of different things as outlets to your struggles. For me, sports, specifically football just happened to be that outlet. It wasn't much of something I could always talk to people about. I went through what all girls went through at one point in their lifetime and that's being told you don't know what you're talking about or you don't belong in sports because you're a girl. I didn't play football growing up like young males do. So I didn't get to learn positions, routes, defensive coverages and terms that are used in the sport. So I get questions like "who plays for this team?" or "who is in this division?". The crazy thing is it seems like it all matters at the time but in reality, it doesn't. Being true to yourself is what actually matters. And I learned quickly that me loving the sport of football was being true to myself.

Go ahead, ask me questions. Or better yet, why don't I just tell you that I know a 'fire call' is when a kicking snap is messed up and you need to improvise. Or that a 'dime defense' is used in obvious passing downs because you bring in an extra defensive lineman. How about that if you have speedy slot receiver and the quarterback sees its man-to-man coverage you should probably tell him to run a deep post route and it'll most likely end in six points.

I follow the NFL on a daily basis. My favorite show is Good Morning Football and I strive to be where Kay Adams is. She is someone I really like up to. I could talk about football all day, so watching a three hour show that is only about the National Football League is intriguing and fun.

I am a die hard Green Bay Packers fan and I will defend Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams with my life no problem. I am always fair when comparing the players to others. I will never say that Tom Brady isn't the Goat or Its clear that Adams is better than Jerry Rice but when I tell you Rodgers is the most talented QB to play the game and is the best pure passer of the football the game has ever seen, I know I'm right and there's numbers to back that up. It's also fair to say that Tae has emerged as the best receiver in the NFL over the past few seasons. One good year at a specific position can get you attention and can also give you the right to say they're great at what they do, but consistency shows you whose the best is over a period of time. Watching the Packers play gives me joy and the most anxiety I ever experience in the same time frame. Every Sunday I'm ready for the Packers to be on but once the game starts I just need it to be over.

I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in spring of 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism with a focus in Broadcasting. I am outgoing and I have always felt like being on television talking about football was meant for me. But I lost focus when I graduated. I wanted to travel and explore. I wanted to try new things and meet new people. I wasn't ready to completely grow up and take on the real world. It was hard to get a job when covid hit, then at the end of 2020 I really had to get through the hardest point in my life. But no matter where I was at in life I was still able to dive in football or basketball. Ive been a server for six years now and I'm finally getting to the point where it's no longer an interest to me. I'm tired of where I live, I'm tired of where I'm at in my life and I'm finally ready to push and get to where I want to be.

I'm starting this blog and podcast to get the ball rolling again as well as get my mind back on track.
